We are a "non-profit"
professional organization of health care security and
safety supervisors, managers, and directors, teamed with
member vendors who provide security products and/or services
in the state of Maryland. We are part of Region #4 which
includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia
and West Virginia. The Maryland Chapter has existed for
over twenty years, in one form or another. It
is our highest priority to improve both the security
profession, the security and safety of our respective
health care organizations, and the overall professionalism
and effectiveness of the health care security industry,
through our ongoing commitment to providing timely,
relevant, and useful educational opportunities. We couple
this dedication to education, with regular chapter meetings,
publications, e-mail networking, and our latest addition
of the Maryland Chapter Website, to join forces to meet
and overcome the many challenges of protecting today's
health care facilities.
